Opportunity

Few roles combine national-security-grade engineering with the kind of autonomy and growth this one offers. You will be trusted with designing, building, and supporting the infrastructure that underpins some of the most vital secure software products in the country. Every decision you make, from how you structure a deployment pipeline to how you harden a cloud environment, directly contributes to resilient, high-stakes outcomes.

Day to day, you will craft automated CI/CD pipelines that turn complex release processes into repeatable, reliable events. You will stand up and operate shared platform services across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments, using Infrastructure as Code to drive consistency and speed. By mentoring feature teams on how to get the most from these platforms, you become the multiplier that lets everyone move faster and safer.

The engineer who excels here brings a deep understanding of secure product delivery, demonstrable experience with cloud platforms, and a proactive mindset. You accept full ownership of the systems you deploy, and you are equally comfortable troubleshooting a containerised application or presenting a technical roadmap to senior stakeholders. Your ability to think strategically across the full lifecycle, and your passion for adopting new tools, sets you apart.

This is not just another DevOps job. It is an invitation to work on programmes that few ever get to see, with a team that values diversity, innovation, and continuous improvement. Generous training budgets, flexible hours, private healthcare, and a genuine commitment to career development mean you will be supported in building your best version. Apply today and step into a role where your technical skills meet lasting purpose.
