Opportunity

Imagine a role where your code does more than power an app—it directly contributes to national security. This confidential employer is developing advanced geolocation and digital communications systems used in defense missions across the globe. You won't just be writing software; you'll be solving problems that have immediate, real-world consequences, working with a team that values tenacity, creativity, and technical excellence.

Your days will be spent in a multidisciplinary R&D environment, collaborating with electrical engineers, mathematicians, and computer scientists. You'll research and invent new algorithms, implement them in efficient software, and then test and deploy those solutions to front-line facilities. The work spans systems engineering, full-stack development, DevOps, and operations—so you'll need to be flexible and eager to learn. This is not a role where you'll be siloed; you'll own the entire lifecycle of the products you help create.

The professional who thrives here combines deep technical expertise with a self-starting, entrepreneurial spirit. You have spent years mastering data structures, algorithms, and design patterns, and you are an undisputed expert in Golang. You know how to design architectures that scale and maintain, and you have a genuine passion for building internal tools that lift an entire enterprise. Most importantly, you hold an active TS/SCI clearance and are a U.S. citizen, ready to hit the ground running without needing constant direction.

If you meet these qualifications and are driven by impact, this opportunity offers a compelling total rewards package: a base salary of up to $260,000, stock options, fully paid healthcare, a 401(k), and full relocation support to Tucson. You'll be challenged every day, your work will be valued, and your colleagues will be among the best in the industry. Apply today to start a conversation—this is a role where your skills can truly protect and serve.

  • You bring at least 15 years of hands-on software engineering experience, with deep domain knowledge
  • You have expert-level knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and modern design patterns, and you are an expert in Golang
  • You are highly proficient in modern software engineering practices that emphasize testability, readability, and maintainability
  • You have a proven track record of designing software architectures that balance functionality, performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability
