Non-Negotiables
- You must hold an active U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher with an investigation completed within the past five years
- A bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required
- You must have at least eight years of systems engineering experience supporting complex defense, aerospace, or mission-critical programs
- You need a strong background in systems integration, architecture development, and technical problem solving
- You must have experience leading technical efforts within multidisciplinary engineering organizations
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contract obligations, and you must be able to obtain necessary Special Access authorizations
- You must be willing to support occasional travel and extended work schedules when program requirements dictate

Responsibilities
- You will lead systems engineering activities across the full program lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture, integration, verification, and sustainment
- You will develop and maintain system architectures for complex defense and training platforms
- You will provide technical leadership for modernization efforts involving legacy systems and emerging technologies
- You will collaborate with software, hardware, test, and program engineering teams to ensure successful system integration
- You will evaluate system performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, maintainability, and overall capability
- You will lead technical reviews, design discussions, and engineering trade studies
- You will mentor junior engineers while promoting sound engineering processes and technical excellence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with mission systems integration is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Electronic Warfare (EW), radar, or EO/IR sensor technologies sets you apart
- Knowledge of C4ISR systems, avionics integration, or secure communications is a strong plus
- Hands-on experience with signal processing (DSP), Ethernet/TCP/IP networking, or military standards such as MIL-STD-1553 or ARINC 429 is valuable
- Exposure to systems modeling, interface management, and Agile or Scrum methodologies is beneficial
- A proven ability to troubleshoot complex system-level issues involving hardware, software, and networking is preferred
- Experience supporting customer demonstrations, technical documentation, and integration testing is a plus
