Non-Negotiables

  • You must hold current, active DV clearance, as this role involves sensitive national security work
  • You are able to work onsite in Cheltenham at least four days per week
  • You bring hands-on experience designing and managing automated CI/CD pipelines
  • You possess deep familiarity with AWS and/or Azure cloud services
  • You have a track record of building and deploying secure products across the full software development lifecycle
  • You have delivered in agile environments using Scrum or Kanban methodologies
  • You are adept at engaging with senior stakeholders to align technical solutions with mission goals

Responsibilities

  • You will develop, test, deploy, release, operate, and monitor software products within collaborative agile teams
  • You will design and manage automated CI/CD pipelines to accelerate and safeguard delivery
  • You will build and operate shared platform services for consistent deployment, operation, and monitoring
  • You will create infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to ensure repeatability and reliability
  • You will deploy and run products across AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments
  • You will support engineering teams in adopting and optimising shared platform services
  • You will engage with senior stakeholders to align technical solutions with broader mission objectives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with GitLab or Jenkins for CI/CD is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with containerisation tools like Docker and Kubernetes gives you an edge
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Packer sets you apart
  • Exposure to monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the Elastic Stack is a plus
  • Certification in AWS, Azure, or related DevOps technologies is welcomed but not required
  • Experience with artifact management tools like Artifactory or Nexus is beneficial
