Opportunity

This is a rare chance to step into a senior engineering role where your work directly impacts national security. You will help modernize training and mission systems used by the defense community, bringing new capabilities to life while ensuring rock‑solid performance in the field. The organization values long‑term thinking, so you can expect to be challenged, supported, and given real ownership from day one.

Your days will be spent leading technical efforts across the full software lifecycle—from architecture and design through integration and verification. You will write code in languages like C++ and Python, but you will also mentor a team of skilled engineers, guide code reviews, and solve problems that demand both creativity and rigor. The systems you build operate in real time, often with strict safety and reliability requirements, so your attention to quality and detail will be critical.

The ideal candidate brings eight or more years of experience and an active Secret clearance. Beyond technical chops, you genuinely enjoy teaching and elevating those around you. You can toggle between deep‑dive debugging sessions and strategic planning meetings, and you communicate with clarity whether you are speaking to a fellow engineer or a program manager. If you thrive in environments where requirements evolve and the bar is high, you will feel right at home.

This is a full‑time onsite role in Binghamton, New York, with relocation support for the right person. You will join a team that shares your passion for building things that matter, and you will be compensated generously for your expertise. If you are ready to lead, mentor, and deliver software that makes a difference, we want to hear from you. Apply today and take the next step in a career that combines technical excellence with meaningful purpose.
