Non-Negotiables
- You must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
- You must have at least 10 years of relevant engineering experience in high-precision continuous process industries such as extrusion, coating, polymer processing, or battery manufacturing
- You must have managed a full engineering group including process, controls, reliability, facility, and maintenance engineers
- You must demonstrate expertise in capital project management (CAPEX)
- You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident green card holder, as sponsorship is not available
- You must be a strong communicator capable of gaining buy-in from engineers, operators, and stakeholders for process changes and improvements
- You must not be a Vice President, Director, long-term consultant, or an individual with a history of job hopping

Responsibilities
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team covering process, controls, facility, and maintenance functions
- Lead capital planning, CAPEX budgeting, and operating expense management for Engineering and Maintenance departments
- Collaborate with Corporate Engineering to implement engineering standards and strategies across the organization
- Drive a culture of safety, continuous improvement, accountability, teamwork, and integrity within the engineering team
- Develop role-based expectations, succession plans, and talent development paths for engineering staff
- Lead projects focused on process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Ensure process scalability from prototype to full production while maintaining equipment specifications and vendor performance expectations
Preferred Qualifications
- An advanced degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred
- Experience in battery, specialty film, or other high-precision continuous process manufacturing is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to develop technical talent and lead multidisciplinary teams is a strong plus
- Expertise in Lean and Six Sigma with a proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis and statistical problem-solving
- Effective presentation skills to communicate technical data and project status to both internal stakeholders and customers
- Willingness to travel occasionally to other plant locations and vendors as needed
