Opportunity
Join a mission-driven team where your code directly strengthens our nation's defense. This Senior Software Engineer opportunity places you at the heart of cutting-edge signal processing and geolocation projects, delivering solutions that make a tangible difference. If you thrive on challenging technical work with clear impact, this is your chance to step into a role that values your expertise and gives you the resources to succeed.
You will design, develop, and optimize software for complex signal processing, geolocation, and communication systems. Working alongside electrical engineers, mathematicians, and computer scientists, you'll turn high-level concepts into robust, maintainable code. Your daily work will involve C++ and Python development in Linux environments, leveraging GPU acceleration with CUDA to push performance boundaries. Rigorous unit testing and a commitment to software craftsmanship ensure every release is reliable and scalable.
The ideal engineer brings at least 15 years of hands-on software engineering experience with a track record of delivering scientific or defense applications. You write clean, testable code instinctively and navigate Linux, C++, and Python with ease. Your deep experience with GPU algorithm development and CUDA libraries sets you apart. Holding an active Top Secret clearance, you are a US citizen who understands the responsibility and privilege of working on classified national security programs. Extra points if you have exposure to HPC, DevOps, Kubernetes, or performance optimization, but what truly matters is your ability to turn complex problems into elegant solutions.
This is more than a job—it's a career-defining role with a top-secret clearance mandate and a compensation package that reflects the critical nature of the work. With a base salary up to $225,000, plus stock, 401K, and comprehensive benefits, you'll be rewarded for your expertise. Relocation support is provided, making Tucson, Arizona, your next professional home. If you're ready to apply your skills to some of the most important challenges in the country, we want to hear from you. Apply today and let's start a conversation about your future in national security technology.
