You’ll join a small, focused team that blends electrical engineering, mathematics, and computer science to deliver custom solutions nobody else can. Your day-to-day involves building and optimizing reusable frameworks, fine-tuning multi-threaded performance, and tackling complex signal and image processing challenges. Every line of code you write supports real-world hardware and software systems that matter.

Non-Negotiables

You must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field
You bring at least 5 years of experience in practical system development and deployment
You have demonstrated mastery of C/C++ development in Linux environments
You possess experience with reusable framework design and development
Your strong math and analytical skills set you apart
You are proficient with the MIDAS framework, preferably X-MIDAS, and Python
An active Top Secret SSBI/SCI clearance is mandatory for this role

Responsibilities

Develop custom digital signal processing solutions and communications systems for advanced applications
Work on software frameworks that support both hardware- and software-based SIGINT systems
Design reusable frameworks, libraries, and toolkits to streamline development efforts
Optimize software performance through multi-threading and other advanced techniques
Contribute to core signal and image processing algorithms, hardware control, GUI design, and database development
Produce code that is well-structured, thoroughly documented, and carefully tested
Engage directly with end users and customers to understand their needs and deliver solutions

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with geolocation and/or digital signal processing in a classified application is highly valued
Proficiency in Java and Qt will help you hit the ground running
Familiarity with the REDHAWK framework is a strong plus
A background in supporting SIGINT processing systems is preferred
The ability to work effectively within a small, dispersed team is essential
